An Introduction...

Hi! I'm Jon Godsi. I'm an actor and writer from London.

I've always been passionate about filmmaking, and I love working with other actors - so setting up my own showreel company seemed like an obvious choice!

I'm excited to help actors at all stages of their careers create new material tailor-made to their skills and casting. Whether you're reaching out to agents and casting or simply looking to freshen up your portfolio, I hope Planet Eight can help you create the scene you want!

The Process

Once you've made a booking, the first step is to arrange a 15-minute Zoom call. This helps me get a sense of what you're looking for in your scene.

Depending on the package you've selected, we will then work on the scene that will be filmed, and come to a final draft of the scene.

On the day of the shoot, I always aim for at least 45-60 minutes of script work before we even start shooting. This allows us to really dig into the text and characters, so once the camera is rolling, I'll have fewer notes to give.

After the shoot, I'll edit the scene, which will then be sent to a colourist for colour grading.
