Why do I need a showreel?

Showreels are the most effective way to show people in the industry - be they agents, producers, casting directors, or anyone else - what you can do as an actor.

Why go through a showreel company?

Custom-made showreels put the focus on you, with the script and the shots all tailored to show you off. They also allow you to try different things and choose the best takes not just for the scene but for each line, helping you put your best foot forward. And they show casting, agents, and everyone else what you can do in a realistic film scene.

How much does it cost?

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! Students and recent graduates get a discount (for more information see full terms and conditions available on the Bookings page) and I never want money to be a barrier for entry in this industry. If you're in need of a showreel but money is a bit tight, feel free to email on info@planeteightshowreels.com and we can set something up on a pay-what-you-can basis.

Where do you shoot?

Currently I do not have my own shooting location, but I am happy to travel within London, and I am able to scout locations if you do not have one. If you want to shoot outside of London, this can be arranged, but would come with an additional fee.

When do you shoot?

I understand that actors often have varied lives, and so have built my shooting schedule to be as flexible as possible. We can shoot any day Sundays to Fridays, and I am happy to shoot in a time slot that works with your schedule. Bear in mind that including script work, I generally aim for at least three and half hours allocated for the shoot.
